When reliability matters
LECTURES AND MASTERCLASSES
Behavioural analysis and Emotional Intelligence are receiving more and more attention. Terms like ‘Non-Verbal Intelligence’, ‘Human Intelligence’, ‘Body Language’ and the like add to people’s curiosity.
Of course, it sounds great when people talk about lie detection, which can be learned. To start with a bummer, Lie detection does not exist and, therefore, cannot be taught.
The result of years of experience in specific (investigation) industries may have enabled people to reasonably estimate the reliability of statements. However, this is by no means a science-based behavioural analysis. In addition, experience is difficult to convey because experience must be gained by oneself.
Which is possible
Applied science makes it possible to indicate the reliability of human behaviour using a specific methodology. In other words, this methodology, together with in-depth knowledge and experience, helps to uncover the truth.
From this field, we provide lectures on the origins of one’s (own) behaviour, its effects and how to influence it. Recognizing deception is part of the lectures.
